The Fannin County Amateur Radio club (FCRC) will be having a Radio in the park Demonstration on December 5th from 09:00 to 16:00 at the Ladonia VFD. In conjunction with this demonstration the club will be sponsoring an Amateur radio class for the Technician class license. The class will conclude with license testing at 15:00 on Dec. the 5th at the Radio in the park. To get started and to get all the information you will need to prepare for the test, please plan to attend an introduction meeting at the Ladonia VFD conference room from 19:00 to 20:00 on Monday the 30th of November.
Since most of the beginning license class (Technician) is memorization you will have the week after the 30th to study and prepare. During the radio in the park even you get to see and operate, if you wish, the amateur radio station.
